The file was generated with the command:

bas_codegen.pl -mmsg -Ctestmessages --noAggregateConversion <backslash>
               balb_testmessages.xsd

(Sustitute '\' for <backslash> – some compilers won't accept a backslash at the end of a C++ comment line.)

After the message component was generated, the following modifications were made:
